So You Think You Can Dance: Charleston, SC and Washington, DC

So You Think You Can Dance

The So You Think You Can Dance judges head to one of the most glorious cities in America, Charleston, SC, for the next round of auditions. By the looks of it, Charleston had some great talent showing some incredible moves…and that was just in the line waiting to get in. We would soon see if the most polite city in America would deliver as expected. If nothing else, host Cat Deeley was having more fun than we had seen to this point with the waiting throng.

Inside the audition hall, Judges Nigel and Mary were joined by guest judge, Tyce DiOrio, who has judged in the past as well as done choreography for many of the dance numbers seen in the competition Season’s past.

Last Comic Standing kicks off the night in Los Angeles, screening hundreds of hopefuls to find the funny. Angela Kinsey and Oscar Nunez from The Office are on hand to scout out the best comics, and Fearne Cotton keeps us updated on how it’s going outside.

Host Bill Bellamy pops in every now and then to intro the contestants, but Oscar and Angela have the final say. “I’m looking for a set that looks very polished,” Angela says.

Supernanny Disciplines the Doyle Family

Supernanny Jo FrostThe Doyle family needs Supernanny’s help. They are young parents of three young children age 5 and under. Sara, 5, is stubborn. Lizzy, 3, hits, slaps, and throws temper tantrums. Andrew, the 20 month old baby of the family, whines all day. Doug Doyle comes home from work and sits on the couch, while Brandy Doyle is left to discipline alone. She also holds down a full time job and is overwhelmed.

“You guys need a back to basics class,” Supernanny Jo Frost declares. “I’m on my way!”

Supernanny is introduced to the children without incident, but as soon as Mom goes upstairs to put Andrew down for a nap, the girls get nasty. They may be toddlers, but they hit and kick like old pros. Brandy ends up sliding Sara into her room and holding the door shut. Later, Lizzy kicks the TV. Mom deals with it by distracting her with tickles and giggles.

So You Think You Can Dance in Salt Lake City, Utah and Dallas, Texas

So You Think You Can Dance Judges So You Think You Can Dance was in Salt Lake City, Utah for the beginning of the next round of auditions to find the next great American dancer. Host, Cat Deeley, opened the show in snowy Salt Lake City saying that the inclement weather could not stop the scores of dancers waiting to audition as she headed into the auditorium to greet judges, Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and new judge, Mandy Moore.

First up, and with a lengthy intro video showing her with her family, was Chelsie Hightower who danced flawlessly with her partner, wowed the judges, and was immediately given a golden ticket to Vegas. Next up was Brett Banford who had Down syndrome but was not put through to Vegas due to his inability to totally sync to the music. He did, however, truly inspire the entire audience, along with the judges, with his presence and terrific attitude.

Hell’s Kitchen Louross Takes His Leave!

Hell’s Kitchen Louross Edralin
After being subjected to the silliest opening credits on a reality show, Hell’s Kitchen takes us back right where we left off last week. Matt can’t stop apologizing for his poor showing. “I’m sorry I let you down,” he repeats. Corey doesn’t hide her exasperation. “I think he could be better at something else, like a used car salesman,” she says.

The Blue team is not exactly enjoying their new teammate, Jen, either. She’s simply too bossy. All of the team members have one big problem, though, and that’s timing.

The Bachelorette: DeAnna Cuts Ryan, Chris and Eric!

Tonight starts with a limo pulling up outside the mansion, carrying the 15 remaining guys to a waiting Chris Harrison. Chris greets the guys by reminding them about the rules of the show (the dates, the roses, we know the drill by now). Then he lays the big news on them. They won’t be living in the mansion with DeAnna. Only the guys who get the first impression or date roses will be living with DeAnna each week; the rest of the guys will be living down in the bunkhouse behind the mansion (where there’s a cold, outdoor shower with no door or curtain and where the guys surmise much “shrinkage” will be visible for all to see).
